Entrepreneurship in electronics was alive and well in the Santa Clara Valley as early as the 1920s and before. Father and son duo Albert W. Bessey and Arthur E. Bessey marketed their patented chicken incubators as well as mass-produced radio sets. This documentary weaves together their tale along with the early history of Sunnyvale, California -- the heart of the Silicon Valley.
The DJI Phantom 4 is extremely easy to fly and after taking it out only a few times I was able to capture smooth shots. I would highly recommend spending the extra money on the Phantom 4, as the obstacle avoidance WILL SAVE YOUR DRONE. I tested it out (accidentally) during the filming of this, and would have had a destroyed UAV otherwise. If you live in Silicon Valley (the Bay Area), Baylands Park in Sunnyvale is a great place to fly. It's a good location to learn at and also has some beautiful marsh land to capture once you get acquainted with your flying camera.
